The works of 80 Alberta artists can be seen at a Spring Gala Show and Sale this weekend at the Gallery on Main in Lacombe.

The works of 80 Alberta artists can be seen at a Spring Gala Show and Sale this weekend at the Gallery on Main in Lacombe.

More than 500 new paintings will be showcased, as well as pottery, sculptures, stained glass and more from Friday to Sunday. The gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Meet-and-greet receptions will be held Friday and Saturday evenings from 5 to 8 p.m. A 7:30 p.m. reading by author Margit DeGraff of her book … And He Came Back Alive! will be held on Friday, and music by Uncle John and the Traveler is featured on Saturday.

The same band will entertain at the gallery on Sunday, when a stained glass demo is held by Theresa Potter at 1 p.m. For more information, visit
