Country hits from the 1950s to the ’70s will be performed in the Louisiana Hayride Show at Red Deer’s Memorial Centre.

Past favourites and new classics in tune with the celebrated historical radio program will be delivered on Wednesday.

“Come and enjoy a fun night out and help the lovable cast of the Louisiana Hayride Show celebrate 10 years of touring this show across Western Canada,” say organizers.

The multi-talented cast of singers and musicians will pay tribute to Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, Roy Orbison, Patsy Cline, Crystal Gayle, Lefty Frizzell, Loretta Lynn and Willie Nelson — as well as Shania Twain as the show connects “old” and “new” country music.

Audience members will also enjoy music by Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Conway Twitty, Charley Pride and more.

Organizers invite you to “take a trip down memory lane with this unique musical extravaganza.”

Tickets to the 7:30 p.m. show are available from the Black Knight Ticket Centre.
