LOS ANGELES — AMC is advertising the good news for Mad Men — the 1960s Madison Avenue drama will return for a fourth season.
The TV series debuted as a low-rated, critical darling but has seen its audience grow at the start of its third season. The early renewal lets viewers know the retro saga will continue next year, AMC said Tuesday in announcing its decision.
The series is reigning best-drama Emmy winner and is up for the honour again at the Sept. 20 awards ceremony, and its period fashions have been cited as an influence by designers.
