Calgary’s passionate blues-rocker Matt Blais will perform next week in Red Deer.

Blais, who’s known for blending fiery elements of rock ‘n’ roll with a smooth vintage blues sound, will play on Saturday, July 26, at Wild Bill’s Sports Bar in the Quality Inn, North Hill.

The musician who’s been compared to Sam Roberts, Matt Mays and Joel Plaskett, is touring Alberta and B.C. this summer in support of his latest album, The Heartbeat.
