Local playwrights will have two opportunities to hone their craft this fall.
The How to Write a Play workshop, hosted by Scripts at Work, will be held on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Central Alberta Refugee Effort., 5000 Gaetz Ave.
The cost is $10 a person. To register, call Jan Underwood at 403-341-6340. Those who have already written a play (50 pages or less) can enter it into a competition before Dec. 12.
The winners will have the chance to work on their play with a dramaturge and see it performed in a staged reading in the spring. More details are available from Underwood.
