A “stunning” angel-themed concert will be presented on Friday in Red Deer.
The Red Deer College Chamber Choir and Symphonic Winds will perform their Sounds of the Season Christmas concert at the Red Deer College Arts Centre.
Canadian composer Sarah Quartel’s brilliant new composition, Snow Angel, is on the program. It’s a five-movement work for choir, piano, cello, percussion and three actors.
The Symphonic Winds will also play varied pieces, including Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf.
Tickets to the 7:30 p.m. show are $22.25 ($18.25 students/seniors) from the Black Knight Ticket Centre.
