A free screening of films and commercials created by Red Deer College students will be held in downtown Red Deer next week.
The Third-Year Film Screening by students from RDC’s Motion Picture Arts program will be held Friday and Saturday, April 28 and 29, at the Welikoklad Event Centre.
The two-plus hour presentation will include When We Listen, a short film about a Syrian woman’s experience in Canada, and several other shorts. Some TV commercials students created will also be shown, along with other class projects — including one in which actors read the same lines with different emotions.
Everyone is welcome at the 7 p.m. screening.
