The sounds of The Eagles are headed to Bashaw.

The musical stylings of the super-group The Eagles are headed to Bashaw.

Marty Jones, of the Eagles tribute band "Desperado" and Aaron Solomon, a member of the tribute band "Eagle Eyes," will be making their way to Bashaw's Majestic Theatre on Sept. 10.

According to Merv Buchanan of Trend Entertainment, the duo "put a new spin on the concept" of Eagles tributes by focusing mainly on Don Henley and Glenn Frey, The Eagle's founders, principal songwriters and lead singers.

"Using a clever mix of live vocals and guitars, mixed with specially produced music tracks, these seasoned entertainers, who have been friends for decades, seem to effortlessly re-create the unmistakeable sound of The Eagles," says Buchanan.

"Their show runs the gamut of Eagles hits, from “Peaceful Easy Feeling”, “Lyin Eyes”, “Take It Easy” and “Tequila Sunrise”, through “Desperado”, “Life In The Fast Lane”, and of course the inimitable “Hotel California”."

The Eagles were formed by Henley, Frey, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner in 1971 and during their career went on to win five American Music Awards, Six Grammy Awards and induction into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame.

Over the course of their career, the super-group had six top albums and sold over 150 million records with their "Greatest hits" compilation selling 42 million copies alone.
