EDMONTON — The organizers of the Big Valley Jamboree have announced that Tim McGraw will headline a makeup concert for those who had their long weekend cut short by a massive storm.

McGraw, who had been scheduled to close the Big Valley Jamboree show, will perform Sept. 17 at Edmonton’s Rexall Place.

Tickets will be made exclusively available to those who held tickets for the Big Valley Jamboree. The event was cancelled when a massive windstorm collapsed the main stage on Aug. 1.

Donna Moore, 35, of Lloydminster, Sask., was killed when a giant speaker fell on her and dozens of people were injured at the show in Camrose, southeast of Edmonton.

Panhandle Productions will be contacting all ticket holders via mail and will provide instructions on redeeming tickets for the upcoming show.

“We were deeply saddened by the tragedy that struck Big Valley Jamboree and are proud to be a part of the makeup concert,” said McGraw.
