Police are hunting for two men who robbed the Eckville Hotel bar at gunpoint.
On Dec. 9, two male suspects armed with a silver pistol and cattle prod, entered the hotel bar at about 4 p.m. and ordered staff and patrons to put their hands up. Money was stolen from behind the bar and the two exited by the back door. No one was injured during the robbery.
Both suspects were wearing blue work coveralls, black masks and gloves. Police believe a white truck was connected to the incident. Sylvan Lake RCMP is asking for the public’s help in solving this crime.
