APLETS accepting applications for upcoming support worker program

The Alberta Prairies Life Enrichment Training Studio is looking for more applicants for its certificate course, which is due to start Dec. 2. 

In a press release, the organization said the 12-week certificate course titled Life Enrichment Support Worker Program Certificate Course is set to start Dec. 2 and go to March 7. It is designed for those interested in starting a career as a support worker to work with vulnerable and disadvantaged citizens.

The course is available in person and also offered virtually for those outside of Red Deer. The number of in-person spots available is limited.

Students who require student financing for the tuition-based program are able to apply for funding through Alberta and Canada Student Aid.
