The stage is set for the 'B' event finale now that Draw 7 is complete at the Boston Pizza Cup currently underway in Stettler.
On sheet A, Evan Van Amsterdam took on Johnson Tao in a game that went nine ends.
The Van Amsterdam rink struck early going up three points in the first three ends compared to just one for Tao. Despite some back and forth, Van Amsterdam won the game with a final score of 7-4 after picking up two points in the ninth end.
Over on sheet D, it was Cole Adams versus Jacob Libbus. The Adams rink struggled with just one point in the first three ends compared to five for team Libbus. The game ended after six ends with a score of 8-2 for Libbus.
The two teams' wins set Libbus and Van Amsterdam up to meet in the 'B' event finals at 5:30 on sheet C at the Stettler Recreation Centre.
Other games going on at 5:30 p.m. include the progression of the 'C' event with Cole Adams facing Jamie King on sheet A, Daylan Vavrek facing Johnson Tao on sheet B, and Zach Davies facing Ryan Jacques on Sheet D.
