The finals are beginning to take shape as Draw Nine of the Alberta Curling Boston Pizza Cup comes to a close.
Playing in Qualifier Three was Daylan Vavrek against Jamie King on sheet D.
On sheet A, it was Zach Davies going up against Jacob Libbus.
Libbus defeated the Davies rink in eight ends after picking up four points in the eighth, resulting in a final score of 10-4.
Meanwhile, Vavrek defeated King in 9 ends with a score of 7-4.
Vavrek and Libbus will face each other tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the 3/4 finals to determine who advances to the semi-final game on Feb 9 at 10 a.m.
Also playing tonight at 6:30 p.m. are Kevin Koe and Evan Van Amsterdam playing in the 1/2 finals. The winner of that game will move directly into the Feb. 9 finals at 3 p.m. while the loser will face the winner of the 3/4 finals in the provincial semi-finals.
