A Red Deer woman’s first try at the Daily Grand lottery paid off.
Cynthia Goulding won $166,666.70 on the December 5 DAILY GRAND draw – the first time she ever played!
The happy winner said she didn’t know she had won anything until mid-January, when she scanned her ticket at the store. But even then, she still wasn’t sure she had actually won.
“I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “I was in complete disbelief. It still hasn’t really sunk in.”
Goulding said she hasn’t made any decisions for her winnings yet.
