Sarfraz Wahid passed away on November 24, 2022, in Red Deer Alberta at age 91.
Sarfraz began studies in the field of physiotherapy after moving to England from Pakistan. Practicing physiotherapy in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, he met the love of his life, Anna. They were married in 1975. They lived happy and full lives together.
Eventually, he and Anna opened their own clinics in Red Deer, Deerbrooke Physiotherapy and also Shalimar Physiotherapy.
Sarfraz had a deep passion for his lifelong career. He was dedicated, skillful and committed to the recovery and healing of each patient. Many became lifelong friends.
Sarfraz's final and incredible gift to medical research and education came with his passing.
Sarfraz is survived by his loving wife Anna, Anna's daughter Holly and a sister Tabinda. Sarfraz is loved by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, seven nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
We will all miss the treasured memories of Sarfraz's warm smile, his sense of humour and wonderful cherished friendship.
