A Tory national energy program?

I am writing today regarding the article which originally appeared in the Canadian Press by Jonathan Montpetit titled Tories to poll on green energy.

Spending $305,000 of taxpayers money polling Canadians, asking if they approve of the Enerstar program is a huge waste of our dollars as Canadians long ago approved of the energy savings appliance program.

The scariest part being: the Harper government stating that we need a national energy program.

This coming from Canada’s furthest right wing prime minister in decades.

What I find appalling is that Harper is an Alberta boy and would surely be aware that when Pierre Elliot Trudeau was the furthest left wing prime minister he tried to nationalize the provinces energy resources rightfully belonging to the citizens of each province. It turned Alberta totally conservative and has banned the Liberals ever since.

Harper talks the talk on green energy but he refuses to walk the walk.
