The C-391 (long-gun registry) vote has proved again that portions of our government are not trustworthy.
A whipped vote on a big issue like this is not democratic. How can we allow a government to exist that is not for our best interest?
It is obvious that the long-gun registry is an absolute waste of tax dollars. I’m tired of paying for a system that in no way has the ability to prevent any crime, including violence against women, or prevent suicides.
If you legally own a firearm, you would know this. It’s time to make our elected officials responsible for the will of the people, not the leaders’ perception of ‘party line.’
Being ‘free to register firearms’ just means everyone’s tax dollars are used for something that makes no difference.
