Alberta should protect the wild horses

I truly hope Alberta will copy the Saskatchewan government in protecting the wild horses.

There are a number of wild horses living west of Sundre.

I truly hope Alberta will copy the Saskatchewan government in protecting the wild horses.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having a band of nine wild horses, a stud, five mares and three colts, share our camping spot on the first week of November.

There was nothing more beautiful than seeing them trot through our camp with their manes and tails flying in the wind.

They spent two days with us and then moved down the road a mile and stayed there. They were wary of humans, but not scared like deer. So there isn’t any wonder that the person responsible for shooting them can do so easily.

I hope more people will see the beauty in these wild horses and push their MLAs to protect them.
