I was appalled to hear that someone shot a beaver down at Three Mile Bend. Being a dog owner & lover I was saddened to hear of the dogs that had been bitten by a beaver.
Unfortunately this is what could happen when people let their dogs run leash-free in an area where other animals live. The beaver was just guarding his territory and possibly some young ones.
This was a very cowardly act and the person who carried it out should be very ashamed.
