I am a journeyman carpenter by trade. I have been in the oil field for the past 10 years for the money.
I say anybody else who wants to work 200-plus hours every two weeks, be on call seven days a week, miss 80 per cent of family events — and do this for a while — and you will find out why the money is huge.
The money does not come free or easy. Its a trap .
