Cleaning dog doo off shoes isn’t biodegradable

Quite a few times over the last few years I have noticed that some Red Deer residents let their dogs do their business in some of the cities beautiful parks, without picking it up.

Quite a few times over the last few years I have noticed that some Red Deer residents let their dogs do their business in some of the cities beautiful parks, without picking it up. Is it not the responsibility of the pet owner to do so, is there not bylaws for that? After asking one man if he was going to pick up after his dog he responded: “Its biodegradeable.” I guess so, but are the paper towels and the cleaners I have to use on my daughter’s shoes when she accidentally steps in it?

People and their pets should have a little more consideration for the children and others that frequent the parks to play . The last thing they want to worry about dog doo.
