Eskimos put winning games ahead of moral fibre

I am a 61-year-old male Albertan-born, raised and have resided in Red Deer all my life.

I am a 61-year-old male Albertan-born, raised and have resided in Red Deer all my life. As far back as I can remember (at least 55 years) I have been a fan of the Edmonton Eskimos, but as of Tuesday morning all my support and my mementoes went out in the garbage. I have lost all respect for the Esks and a great deal of what I had for the league in allowing a confessed child molester to be hired as a general manager (Eric Tillman).

This is a sad day in our country’s history and a statement of our declining moral fibre that a sports record is more important than the right of a 16-year-old female to grow up unmolested.

It is an embarrassment to all Canadians and especially Albertans that they should hire this pervert.
