It is now Remembrance Day. Along with remembering the brave men and boys who went to war to protect us all, I know one who had joined at 15 and others who ran away and joined at 14.
But I can’t help remembering when Pierre Trudeau commissioned a man by the name of Frank McKenna and another man to film The Honor and the Horror to discredit our veterans. Hugh Clifford Chadderton and men of the air force tried to sue those involved. But the government would not allow it. It was called a “documentary,” which made it sound as though it were true.
We must be vigilant in guarding the truth — from those who would rewrite history.
