God bless you, bike thief

I had a nasty car accident last year that has left me unable to participate in many of the activities I used to enjoy. I have a very pronounced limp and can’t even manage a fast walk.

I had a nasty car accident last year that has left me unable to participate in many of the activities I used to enjoy. I have a very pronounced limp and can’t even manage a fast walk.

Biking was the only time I had the freedom of movement where I could move quickly without any pain. I have just had my bike stolen in broad daylight outside of my house.

I do not know what motivates some people to take what isn’t theirs, perhaps some sense of entitlement?

Whatever motivates them it is quite obvious they just don’t care. If you can’t afford to replace it, what you use it for, if you enjoy taking bike rides with your kids in the summer, it doesn’t matter to them.

I’m not able to work because of my injuries and waiting to receive disability, so right now we are on one income and can not afford to replace it. I am very limited with the exercises I can do because of my injury and biking was one of my favourites.

I very much doubt that someone who would do something like this would read the editorial section of a newspaper, but in case you do, I forgive you. Jesus forgave me for all I’ve done and that empowers me to forgive you. I wish you blessings and I hope you find Him, because if you are out there stealing bikes, you need him. God Bless you.
