In her initial column regarding the civic election, Vesna Higham indicated that she would be presenting the candidates and the issues in a balanced and unbiased fashion.
By her own description in her Saturday, Oct. 9, piece, it is clear she targeted Dianne Wyntjes in a negative way.
Again, Higham has demonstrated that she is not capable of objective journalism. The Advocate could do much better by choosing a columnist who can set personal biases aside. Her writings should be taken for what they are — an attempt to sway the voter.
