Spending 12 days in hospital Unit 23 after emergency surgery (ruptured appendix), I want to send big thanks yous to Dr. Hardy, as well as all the staff of Unit 23. There was never a waiting time of more than a few minutes for a nurse’s call.
On discharge from the hospital, but not quite ready to go home, I was transferred to a transition place at Masterpiece Place.
There I was able to gain my strength and was looked after quite well.
Whomever introduced that program also needs a big bouquet of “thank yous.”
It frees up a hospital bed sooner.
Also, my waiting at emergency was less than an hour.
I must say there were more positive than negative things about my experience.
