Investigation doesn’t end this

While it is true that an investigation of sorts was done last year, what is not mentioned is the fact that the so-called “investigation” was done by a so-called “independent Crown counsel” who is never identified and no one can tell us what evidence was actually provided to the investigator.

Furthermore, the “investigation” was concluded last October, but the judge’s findings were only released on Jan. 27, 2011.

Rest assured that the RCMP will have ample opportunity to explain to the Commissioner for Public Complaints Against the RCMP how it is that they conducted a “thorough and complete investigation” without ever having spoken to me and at least one other eyewitness to the events in question.

Again, stay tuned. This is not over, no matter how hard the RCMP may try to convince everyone that it is.
