Jablonski’s presentation less than impressive

I attended this presentation and for one of your editorial writers to compliment the seniors and community supports minister and Red Deer North MLA on her communication skills made me think I was at a different meeting than he was.

Re. Mary Anne Jablonski’s Oct. 6 presentation to Red Deer seniors:

I attended this presentation and for one of your editorial writers to compliment the seniors and community supports minister and Red Deer North MLA on her communication skills made me think I was at a different meeting than he was.

It was made clear to us she was not going to answer any questions when we walked in the door and were greeted with poster asking for written questions. She then took 20 minutes to explain to us she had grandparents and then basically read a government pamphlet to us.

Any questions asked of her, she said she would take them to cabinet.

She was given a list of questions weeks earlier by the council on aging that she chose to completely ignore.
