Jungle Farm well worth a visit

Have you been to the Jungle Farm, between Penhold and Innisfail? If you haven’t, you should put it on your to-do list this fall.

Have you been to the Jungle Farm, between Penhold and Innisfail? If you haven’t, you should put it on your to-do list this fall.

It’s a hidden treasure, in our own backyard, run by a down-home family.

Whether you want to do some picking, or want to have a wonderful afternoon out with the family, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Jungle Farm offers it all.

I took my two small children out there. We had a blast, started out picking strawberries, then we went for a hay ride which took us to other parts of the farm, with games, a small petting zoo area, then off to the corn maze, and they currently have the pumpkin patch open. And yes, they keep until Halloween!

Ending the day with a picnic at the play structure, I could not believe it when we got back in the vehicle, we had been out there four hours! And my children could not stop talking about it.

All I could think about on the way home is how wonderful this farm and the entire family were.

The Staples family has something out there for everyone; an afternoon you will not soon forget.

Thank you Jungle Farm!
