Congratulations to the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery on their recently-completed renovations. Red Deer and environs can now celebrate a world-class facility for exhibitions of great stature within this state-of-the-art facility.
Exhibitions recently unveiled have included Robotic Chair from the National Gallery in Ottawa, and its counterpoint, Humble Beauty, a sensitive investigation of chairs from the MAG’s own collection.
Combined with the RDC annual visual arts graduates’ exhibition and the extraordinary works of artist and filmmaker Larry Reese, citizens have been able to experience under one roof a complex range of work that includes the revered and historical, the ultra-scientific, and the promise of tomorrow’s artists and thinkers.
