Lloyd Wongstedt (Letters, Dec. 10) wrote that university researchers “deliberately altered the numbers” on 1,100 climate change research documents. In fact, the number 1,100 refers to the number of documents that the email hackers released (the so-called “climategate”).
If Wongstedt has any evidence that any researchers altered any numbers, perhaps he should enlighten the U.K. House of Commons Science and Technology Committee, which investigated the leaks months ago and found no tampering on the part of researchers.
