Live and let live

I watched a newscast on TV with people being interviewed at Three Mile Bend about the dangerous beavers.

I watched a newscast on TV with people being interviewed at Three Mile Bend about the dangerous beavers.

In the meantime, they’re showing pictures of individuals throwing things in the water for their dogs to fetch.

Dog owners, please use a little common sense.

City of Red Deer, don’t spend our tax dollars trapping beavers that are only defending themselves and their young.

Of note, I am a dog lover. I don’t have a dog, but I’ve spent many enjoyable hours at The Bend watching other people’s dogs romp around and socialize with each other.

I know most dog owners are responsible and with respect for each other, the beavers could stay and the dogs could continue to have fun.

By the way, my daughter who lives in the U.S. loves watching the beavers and says that trapping them would be bad for the tourist trade.
