Local clothing bank officials appreciate Red Deer’s generosity

Thank you to the citizens of Red Deer and surrounding area from the Red Deer Community Clothing Service (clothing bank) for coming to our aid in our time of needing men’s clothes.

Thank you to the citizens of Red Deer and surrounding area from the Red Deer Community Clothing Service (clothing bank) for coming to our aid in our time of needing men’s clothes. Without the help of the news media, both radio and newspapers, this need would not have been brought to the community’s attention. Many individuals and companies generously responded with donations of winter jackets, hoodies and boots. When we all pull together, miracles happen.

Thank you to the United Way for paying our rent so we have a place to help people who have need of free clothing. Because of the overwhelming response and our limited storage space, we are unable to accept further donations until Jan. 5, 2010.
