Natural supplements put at risk

Behind the scenes of the newly-elected majority government of Canada, a deadly game goes on. Quietly, the banning of natural supplements has gone on. Products energy drinks have been approved instead of natural parsley supplements. Manufactured medicinal ‘quality’ products are marching along, and as our medical system prescribes man-made copies of naturally-occurring, free-from-side-effects compounds.

If the Department of Health is not stopped, almost 80 per cent of all natural supplements will be gone from stores.

If you are looking for Omega 3, or coQ10 or calcium supplements that are not prescribed, it may not happen! Cod liver oil may be a thing of the past unless this legislative movement is stopped.

Somehow, previous generations survived without excessive government regulation on home remedies. Somehow, the natives who lived through our harsh environment made it through cancers, infections, fevers, swellings, and heart disorders. Imagine, if you will, a cure for diarrhea and upset stomachs from dandelions? Or a remedy for skin rashes from flowers? For centuries, this was the way.

The biggest threat to our health system is that natural cures do work, and that by using less expensive alternatives, the bloated health system cannot profit by overcharging for man-made drugs.

We all need to tell the government to stop the process of banning supplements. The process is simple.

Write and tell someone about it. The minister of Health, premier, prime minister, newspapers, doctors, naturopaths.

Just do it.

Our health is in the balance.
