No one in Canada should be allowed to walk around with a covered face, especially in a protest rally or march. Look at the ones wearing balaclavas during the G-20 protests. The ones wearing the face covers were just out to break and steal.

I feel that if we aren’t going to stop these covered faces that the protesters are using to hide their identity, then we should have no leg to stand on by trying to stop the Muslim women from wearing their full burkas. Hiding identity, I would suggest, isn’t intended for a legal purpose.

I feel that Nicolas Sarkozy, president of France, is right by banning covered faces in public. This isn’t a religious thing, it’s a safety situation.

My opinion for the bottom line is everyone with a covered face in public be subject to immediate arrest, followed by a heavy fine.

This would include drivers of motorized vehicles. Many people are poor enough drivers as it is and not being able to see properly because of a covered faces doesn’t help their driving ability.

Enough already. No one can have a covered face in public. Some common sense has to prevail for our severe cold winter climate and there will have to be some adjustments for this situation, especially for toddlers and school children during the winter months.
