Something has to be done about these big utilities companies. Direct Energy just shut my gas off over a $231 bill that was just sent.
No disconnect notice of any kind. The temp is four degrees and when I called, they said nothing could be done till tomorrow. The only thing they had to say about it is that they don’t shut off gas during the winter.
I have had bills a lot larger than that and they never shut it off. Now that it gets cold they think it is funny to do this to people. I have reptiles in the house and they won’t last in the cold.
