Six months now have passed since the news from the government about the delisting of surgery for people with gender identity disorder.
As a past sufferer of this disorder, I was disappointed to see this occur.
But on a related note, with the multitude of discussions I have had with the people of Red Deer, and their willingness to listen, if not necessarily agree, it has made me so very glad to live in a city like Red Deer.
I truely believe even with our little troubles, we are the star city of Alberta.
