Socialized health care can never work

Question: When are we going to learn that socialism and health care do not work?

Question: When are we going to learn that socialism and health care do not work? Unlimited demand cannot be met simply by the enforcement of taxes on us. Taxpayer resources are limited— plus there is the fact of taxpayer resistance.

The open market provides all other necessities of life to us without rationing and wait lines. The price balances all demand with the supply. Food and shelter work reasonably well with a minimum of government interference.

It is possible government health-care problems could end by the introduction of a very nominal user fee. A compassionate exemption could be made for the disadvantaged.

Basic common sense, 2+2=4, 101 economics coupled with our history of what motivates our human action would validate user fees.

Will we find government leadership to introduce some free-market ideas such as a user fee to rescue our health care? Alberta could do it.
