In this terrible time, with so much corruption going on in this World and even I our City of Red Deer, it is nice to see that we still have wonderful citizens and neighbours who are out there, looking after people in need of some kind of care.
I live in the Woodlea Area of Red Deer and due to my arthritis, its been impossible for me to shovel my sidewalks, etc. .
One of my neighbours, is very well known for helping everyone around here. Besides all the garage sales he has for everyone, he also is known for shopping for others, walking dogs, caring for neighbours’ homes while they are away, etc.
This man also volunteers at churches, and small business, and gives generously of his time. He has concerns and hard things to deal with in his own life, but he still makes time for others. During my last recovery from surgery he brought me down some wonderful casseroles (very healthy food )vegetables, salads, stew and even desserts. Boy can this man cook — his food is absolutely delicious. He has a wonderful talent for cooking, making savoury delicious meals.
I wish to thank this wonderful man who should be recognized for the caring things he does.
