Thank you to City of Red Deer officials. They are to be commended for the recent addition of street names to the traffic light arms. It makes giving or receiving directions much clearer, and they are visually appealing as well.
No more having to search for little crammed street signs through foliage or rain or snow while navigating the multi-lane Gaetz Avenue.
I used to tell people to turn at Sears to get to my area, but guess what? Sears moved, so landmarks are not always consistent!
The addition of street signs makes Red Deer look more like the big city it has become.
