Alberta’s Super Health Board members were appointed last year at an annual honorarium of $40,000 per annum, plus out of pocket expenses.
Recently, there has been media reports the Health Board honorarium has been increased to $50,000 per annum and that bonuses had been paid to these board members.
I think the board members have already attended three or four meetings since inception.
My questions are as follows:
• Did the Super Health Board members receive an Honorarium increase of 25 per cent?
• Were bonuses paid to these new Super Health Board members ?
Many Albertans are seeking answers to the above questions.
