Thank you for helping us restore our language

A very big “Thank You” to the people who supported the Restore Our Language group at the March 16 meeting held in the Waskasoo Room of the Red Deer Public Downtown Library. You were most encouraging.

Thank you especially to Audrey, Bea, Leisa and Rick. We were busy discussing the agenda of organizational matters and brainstorming for ways of achieving our goal of ridding our language of profanity, when we were joined by Sara Offin, videographer for CityTV, Rogers Broadcasting. She videographed me as I discussed our goals, and Leisa, who spoke of the ways we might proceed in achieving those goals. Thank you so much, Sarah!

We will not know for awhile just when our interview will be aired; it will be a part of a larger production.

So a big thank you again to all who support us, and that includes the Red Deer Advocate, who published an article on March 3 on our aspirations. We appreciate the publicity.

Our next meeting will be held on April 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Waskasoo Room, (same place) and we hope to see you there. We truly need and appreciate your help!
