Thanks for helping me when I broke my ankle

On Feb. 7, I was skating at Bower Ponds and I fell and broke my ankle.

I would like to say thank you to the young adults who helped me off the ice and get me to the top of the hill. Thank you for helping with the grandchildren and all you did for us. It was greatly, greatly appreciated.

Once again, thank you.

I think it’s a shame what Stelmach’s club (government) is trying to do to the seniors drug plan. Come on everyone, get on the phone to MLAs, the minister of health and wellness an the premier himself. Let them hear your voice.

And here is a note to the Advocate: I do like the new layout of the paper, but what was the matter with the lottery numbers on the front page? Some nights I can’t find the numbers and other nights they are on Page 3. Why not keep them in the same spot every single night?
