On behalf of the families of Brad and Krista Howe, we would like to express our deep and sincere gratitude to everyone for all the kindness and compassion bestowed upon us during this tragic and sad time for our families.
We have received love and prayers, support and encouragement and extreme generosity from family, friends, neighbors and complete strangers.
We have received and are still receiving major support, encouragement and generosity from the communities of Red Deer, Meadow Lake and Foam Lake.
The loss of Brad and Krista in such a tragic and preventable way has left a big empty space in our hearts and our families, but the desire of so many people to offer us aid and encouragement has touched our lives and warmed our hearts in a wonderful way.
It has been more than eight months and the people and businesses of Red Deer, including Brad’s and Krista’s workplaces of Nova Chemicals and ME Global, are still coming to our aid and helping us in huge ways.
Red Deer is indeed a compassionate city with a heart. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
In honour of Brad and Krista, I have an online petition started to enact stiffer penalties for impaired drivers. I encourage everyone to support the much-needed change in legislation in this regard.
