I wish somebody would tell me what the $800,000 Cookie Monster Duckett’s been doing for the last 20 months. Gord Bonje says he’s right on track — for what, letting people die in the ER while waiting six to eight hours for medical care?
Premier Stelmach, instead of handing out bonuses, you should have been hiring extra medical staff, instead of giving people notice of loss of job.
Another problem in Red Deer is the two senior lodges sitting empty, that could be used for extra beds. They don’t have to be used forever, but until you get your act together, it would solve the problem of crowding in the hospital with the hallways being used for patients, etc.
Any person on the street could tell you that.
When someone doesn’t agree with you, you kick them out. You either need your head examined or get it out of the sand.
Let’s have some action and not have to wait another 20 months to get this health problem fixed.
What really should happen is you should be sued for incompetence to the Alberta Health Care system. Just maybe that might wake you up.
