Vandals stole statue from memorial garden

In the gardens of the little house near Rotary Park is located a special memorial garden for those who have passed on from motor neuron disease (ALS, PLS, etc).

This garden is a special tribute to such, now deceased, sufferers and their families.

On Friday night, May 29, someone stole a very special ‘Guardian Angel’ from the garden.

This angel was donated to the Forever Friends Memorial Garden as a special tribute and is the centrepiece of the garden!

The Guardian Angel statue was a large one, standing about more than a metre high, cream coloured, with her arms folded beautifully across her chest.

We are heartbroken. This tribute garden is run partly by us (I am a sufferer of motor neuron disease) and partly by donations from families who have lost loved ones.

To the person or persons who stole our Guardian Angel, I am asking that you return her, intact, to the memorial garden immediately.

You need not reveal who you are. Just bring her back — please!

I cannot afford another one.
