According to the new auditor general, ATB Financial over spent $140 million in upgrading their systems.
Several years ago ATB Financial made an investment for $1 billion in ABCP, which is reporting a loss of nearly $400 million. Premier Ed Stelmach has done absolutely nothing about these mistakes and ATB financial senior officers and executives are still approving for themselves huge annual bonuses.
ATB Financial is wholly owned by the province of Alberta and Stelmach should have stepped in to correct these unpleasant happenings.
It is time for Albertans to vote for a political change.
