I guess the police chief and town council in Sylvan Lake don’t realize we just had the 65th anniversary of D Day.
Those soldiers fought, in part, for our freedom of speech.
I am talking about the swearing bylaw they are trying to implement.
I realize the reason for the law, but I also know there are some overzealous bylaw officers out there and if I’m on the beach and say it’s f-ing hot out here I don’t think I should be fined.
I hope that 100 per cent of the people fined refuse to pay.
The town would spend a fortune trying to prosecute everybody.
