Will local PCs join revolt?

Even longtime Tories are in revolt against the Alberta government plans for health services.

Even longtime Tories are in revolt against the Alberta government plans for health services. A New Year’s weekend Edmonton Journal article (Jan. 3), reported Conservative Party members in Edmonton Whitemud constituency organizing to protest cuts that would affect the most vulnerable in our province — seniors pharmaceuticals, long-term care, people with developmental disabilities, hospital downgrades and service reductions.

When will our local Tory MLAs stand up and represent Red Deer and area health-care users, instead of just trying to peddle and defend the party line? Will they ever listen to Central Alberta citizens when we say ‘No’ to the cuts?
