Tickets for the David Thompson Health Region Foundation’s Hospitals’ Homes Lottery 2009 are now available.

The grand prize is a fully furnished, three-bedroom home, worth $670,000, built by True-Line Contracting Ltd. at 16 Welsh Close.

Tickets are $25 each, five for $100 or 15 for $250. To purchase tickets, call toll free 1-877-808-9005 or 403-340-1878, order online at or visit the DTHR Foundation office on the main floor of the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre.

About 30 per cent of tickets have already been sold during a recent mail-out campaign to people who bought tickets in recent years. Proceeds will help purchase diagnostic and treatment scopes for gastrointestinal and urology patients in the health region.

Altogether, 431 prizes worth more than $900,000 are available in the first draw the foundation has ever held featuring a home as a grand prize.

The deadline for the early bird draw is 11 p.m. on May 31, with the draw on June 12.
